How many sessions will I need?
A minimum of two sessions is recommended to achieve maximum results. About 10% of our clients will need a third visit. If you have extremely oily skin, microblading might not be the procedure best for you.
How long is the Healing Process?
Most people fully heal within 4 weeks from their initial procedure.
Does it hurt?
Pain is minimal for most, most clients say it feels like plucking. We numb the area first using a topical numbing cream along with medical grade numbing gel throughout the procedure. It is very effective!
What do I need to prepare before the session?
If you like a certain eyebrow shape, bring in a photo and show me.
Avoid taking any blood thinners (unless prescribed by doctor) 24 hours before coming in.Do not consume alcohol before or day of session. Need to be off all Retinol(a) products for 2 weeks prior to appointment.
If you used Accutane, you’ll have to be off that for 6 months before coming in.
Avoid sun tanning 2 weeks before and after your procedure.
Tip: I recommend washing your hair before coming in because it will be a little challenging to do so after since you will have to keep your brows away from water during the healing process.
Is your facility Clean and Certified?
Yes. We only use 100% disposable tools. We are fully current and up to date with all OSHA standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and blood borne pathogen certification.
Can I wear makeup during the appointment?
It’s up to you, but your eyebrows and eyebrow area will be wiped and sterilized.
Will you be shaving all my eyebrows off?
No. The entire eyebrows do not need to be removed during this procedure., only the brow hairs that are outside shape and unruly hairs.
Can you help me correct my uneven eyebrows?
It’s very normal for our natural eyebrows to be uneven. A good percentage of my clients all come in with some unevenness. I will be using several techniques to help you create balance and harmony so your dream eyebrows will appear even.
Why do the brows in the after pictures look so dark?
The eyebrows are approximately 20% to 40% darker and bolder until healed.
How do I care for my new eyebrows?
It’s pretty simple. No water, sweat, or anything to the eyebrows EXCEPT the ointment that I will be giving you. Also, keep the brows away from the sun during the healing stage (approximately 10 days). It’ll be tempting so DO NOT scratch your eyebrows off – let it heal properly. You will be getting thorough After Care information at time of the appointment.
